Privacy notice.
1310 uses the information you provide to manage your sign-up, any founding payment and a possible service.
What is stored
Your name, email, optional phone number, installation address, postcode, area, whether you are a home or business (and company name and VAT number if given), the option you chose, any amount paid, sign-up date, the terms version you accepted, optional consent choices and internal review notes.
Payments
Founding payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by 1310. We keep Stripe's payment reference so we can match and refund payments.
Our customer system
Your details are copied into 1310's customer management system (Splynx) as a new prospective customer, so we can plan surveys, installations and billing. Any founding payment is recorded against that account.
What it is used for
To record and review your sign-up, assess coverage, take and refund payments, and contact you about your area. Offers and news need the separate marketing opt-in. A name is only considered for a Founders Wall if you separately opt in.
Who can see it
Authorised 1310 staff. Public pages only show totals per area. Names, emails and addresses are never published.
Partners in your area
1310 sometimes works with local partners to bring full fibre to an area, such as a parish or town council, a landlord or managing agent, or a community group. A partner can sign in to a secure portal to follow progress in the areas they work with us on. By default, partners see only totals: numbers of sign-ups and founders, money raised, places taken and counts by postcode sector, with no names or contact details.
Where a partner needs them to help with the build (for example to arrange access, wayleaves or street works), 1310 may also share the name, company name, installation address, email, phone number and option chosen for sign-ups in that partner's area. We only do this under a written data-sharing agreement that limits the partner to using your details for that build, and stops them using them for marketing or passing them on. Every view and download is logged. Ask us which partners, if any, can see details in your area.
Cookies and logs
A necessary session cookie protects forms, manages admin and partner sign-in and shows your confirmation. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies for fraud prevention. Server logs record references, not form contents.
Your choices
Contact 1310 to correct or cancel your sign-up, ask for a refund before a build is confirmed, request a copy or deletion of your data, object to your details being shared with a local partner, or withdraw marketing or Founders Wall consent. Quote your reference. hello@1310.io.
